Week 1 Honors have been Announced

Each week the TPFL will be honoring an Offensive and Defensive player for each tier as Player of the Week. We all know football games can't be played without the big ol' boys in the trenches. So, the TPFL will also honor the best Offensive Line performance for each tier as well. 

Without further adieu...

Week 1 - Tier 1 Offensive Player of the Week - Jaquan Green - Steel City Bobcats
Green finished week 1 as the top passer with 209 yards through the air.

Week 1 - Tier 1 Defensive Player of the Week - Cam Sanders - Erie Express
Cam lead the league with 12 total tackles in week 1 and added an interception and two pass defenses as well.

Week 1 - Tier 1 Offensive Line of the Week - Steel City Bobcats
The Bobcats Offensive Line help drive the Steel City offense to over 300 yards of total offense!

 

Week 1 - Tier 2 Offensive Player of the Week - Dandre Black - Stark County Wolfpack
Dandre lead all Quarterbacks in Tier 2 with 190 yards through the air.

Week 1 - Tier 2 Defensive Player of the Week - DeNis Wheat - Stark County Wolfpack
Wheat stacked up 10 total tackles to lead Tier 2 for week 1. He also added a sack.

Week 1 - Offensive Line of the Week - Stark County Wolfpack
The Wolfpack's big fellas held down the trenches to help Stark County total more than 350 yards on offense.
